Four decades of handwoven craft
With over 40 years of experience behind us, we have built a reputation for skilled, meticulous work — the kind of craftsmanship that is increasingly rare. Every piece that passes through our hands is treated with genuine care and expertise.
We work with three of the finest natural weaving materials — cane, rush and seagrass — applying traditional hand-weaving techniques refined over decades. Alongside our bespoke handwoven work, we also produce prefabricated cane panels to specification for cabinetry and furniture production.
Our clients range from private individuals restoring a cherished family piece, to museums preserving items of significant heritage, to furniture shops and trade clients seeking a reliable, long-term craftsmanship partner. We have completed work for clients all over the world.
No job is treated as too big or too small — every enquiry is welcome and every piece is considered on its own merits.

Three natural materials, one craft
We are specialists in all three of the classic natural weaving materials. Each has its own character, tradition and technique — and we work with all of them to a high standard.
Cane
Traditional rattan cane is the hallmark of classic chair-making. We weave cane by hand in the traditional hexagonal pattern and a range of other styles, suited to your piece and its period.
Rush
Natural rush seating has been used in English furniture for centuries. We work with genuine rush to produce warm, characterful results with the authentic look, texture and feel of the original craft.
Seagrass
Seagrass offers a smooth, contemporary texture with natural durability. Popular for both traditional and modern furniture, it works beautifully across a wide range of styles and finishes.
Simple from start to finish
Getting your piece restored is straightforward. We keep things simple and communicate clearly at every step.
